Neighbors

Much of the information shared on the EFFORTS website and on our discussion list originates in the US and may or may not apply in other countries. Some of it is basic - science or medicine or human relationships - and thus it applies equally well everywhere.  Some of it is application oriented – dependent on specific social welfare systems, health delivery systems, health insurance systems, drug regulations, local drug naming practices, and so on – and thus, while generally useful, it may not directly apply in other countries.

Therefore, our non-US members might be aided by being able to discuss some of this information with other members in their own country or area. Some of our members have volunteered their contact information for this purpose.
